Replacing a church building that was near collapse, A4aC Architects designed a new building that could be built by community members themselves, developing critical skills throughout the process.
When comparing this project to previously submitted work, the involvement of the architects was less, allowing the community in Malawi to play a bigger role in the construction process.
Since this technology was introduced to the community, they have taken ownership of it and work with less supervision. They are more involved with the development and upliftment of the community.
