On a journey to share knowledge with other young people, dynamic teenagers Megan Werner and Ntando Makwela will travel from Cape Town, South Africa to Cairo, Egypt – in an aircraft they are building themselves. Stopping in other countries along the way, the pair’s aim is to inspire their peers to dream big and believe in themselves through this ambitious project.
With the help of 20 supporting teenagers and a group of senior engineers as supervisors, Megan and Ntando will build a so-called “Sling” plane and pilot it across the continent. The duo also plans to document their journey through a TV series.
